ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW!

How this contest works:


1) You will be able to submit your original photograph or artwork for a $5 donation.

***Please email us your artwork at unicef@fiu.edu***

2) Once you have emailed your art, UNICEF@FIU will request payment within 24-48 hours.

Once the payment is received, you will receive a confirmation email indicating that it

will become eligible for voting.
***UNICEF@FIU reserves the right to decline art that is not suitable for the theme.***


3) Last day to submit art is: *Deadline Extended to Wednesday April 3rd 2019 at 5 PM!!*.


4) Voting will end on April 20th at 5 PM. For a $1 donation, you will be able to cast one vote for the art work of your choice.

**Voting Rule: Submit your 1$ donation either through Venmo/Cashapp (userame: @unicefFIU) or PayPal (Vice President email address: tanisnyder@gmail.com). When submitting your donation, indicate the art name (which is the artist name) so the vote can go to the appropriate artwork**.


6) On April 11th, the top submissions will be announced and notified.

These pieces of art will be given the opportunity to be exhibited in the

Graham Center (GC) Gallery within Florida International University.

The artists will have to bring their FRAMED work to the GC gallery on April 12th and 13th. 

*** Please make sure your work can be printed 8x10in. ***


7) The artwork will then be on display in the GC Gallery for two weeks, with a reception being
held on Tuesday, April 23rd, 2019.


8) The top five pieces of art that raise the most money through voting, will be given special
recognition. This includes a prize pack supplied by UNICEF@FIU and national recognition in the
form of an article on the UNICEF USA website and a mention on their Instagram.

9) ALL proceeds (from the submission price to the cost of voting) will be donated to UNICEF USA.
